I have never been a gumbo person but I am a soup person. I have tried many Gumbo's and just gave up. I tried yours only to be polite. OMG...you made a believer out of me! It is the best Soup/Gumbo I have ever had. What I wouldn't do for a gigantic bowl of your Classic Gumbo today.

We had the Classic and loved it. I love soup in the winter so I'm freezing the rest in serving size containers. Next time, I'll get the Base so Larry can easily make his own gumbo recipe,

We just had the most delicious dinner-your Classic gumbo over rice. So tasty, with the perfect kick, and could it be any easier... What a pleasurable, flavorful change from the usual dinner at our house.

I have traveled to New Orleans every year for the past 15 years. I go there for two reason... the food and the music. I am so happy to have found Just Gumbo's Classic gumbo and experienced it. This gumbo has the perfect blend of seasoning. Now I can have "Just Gumbo" anytime and picture myself at the corner of Canal and Poydras.

Just Gumbo has the best tasting "Classic" Gumbo that I have ever had!!! No doubt the flavors just exposed all of my good side!

My husband is from Mississippi and knows how gumbo is supposed to taste; I brought home some Just Gumbo Classic and he and our 9 year old son loved it! This says a lot considering they're very picky eaters.

My husband and I lived in New Orleans where gumbo is king a few years back. So I can tell you that Just Gumbo's Classic gumbo is pleasing to the palet and not too hot. It's ideal for Fall and Winter but good anytime.

I love the Classic gumbo with okra. It tastes homemade and has just the right amount of "kick".

Being a "foodie" and having eaten at some of New Orleans' premiere restaurants (Commanders Palace, Antoine's, Brennans) I can tell you Debra Mouton's Gumbo (Just Gumbo) is the real thing! Tasting this Gumbo is the next best thing to taking a trip down to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter! I am not sure how she can make it in quantity and still keep that homemade taste but am glad she does! Justin Wilson and Paul Preudhomme would be proud!

The Seafood Gumbo is the ultimate comfort food-warm and satisfying-and at the same time it’s a wonderfully complex and elegant gourmet meal in a bowl. How good is this gumbo? After trying it for the first time, I was hesitant to brush my teeth not wanting to rinse away the fantastic flavors that lingered in my mouth!

OHHHH, MYYYY GOD! IT WAS AWESOME! I have to tell you, I haven't cared for most gumbos I've had and most jambalayas aren't very good either - they either taste "corporate" or lack character and depth. Your gumbo is outstanding. Even my wife commented how good it was and that says a lot as she can sometimes be quite finicky. I ate so much of it there's just enough left for one more serving so guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow?

My sister-in-law was the star at a family potluck when she served Just Gumbo. Everyone was "wowed" by this rich, savory dish with generous pieces of sausage and crab. While I have enjoyed Gumbo several times in New Orleans; until now, I've never found anything comparable back home. This is the real deal! I've served Just Gumbo over brown rice and found it simply delicious - even without adding the suggested two shrimp. Serve with a piece of cornbread or crusty French bread and you have a wonderful restaurant-quality meal with down home appeal. I simply love it!

My wife surprised me with a Just Gumbo meal for a special New Year's Eve dinner and now I am hooked! The gumbo had such a rich, full and zesty taste and required minimal preparation. It is the ideal meal for me...quick and easy to prepare and delicious. We have started an on-going New Orleans theme meal tradition featuring Just Gumbo and shared it with several friends...they have all enjoyed it as much as us. Can't wait for my next Just Gumbo meal!
